Welcome to GoodGym Bexley!

We're a friendly and sociable group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Wednesday evening to get active and do a physical task to help the community organisations and charities in our area.

The task

Boogie on down and to help distribute flyers for the Community Hospice's disco night. We'll provide the glow sticks and good vibes for this groovy task!

Leafleting is a a great opportunity to boost you step-count for the day, all the while chatting and helping a fantastic local charity.

New to GoodGym and/or running? Prefer to walk rather than run? This is the ideal task for you. Bring yourself, bring a friend and let's have a good time.

📍Where and when? We'll meet at 6.40pm at Sidcup Leisure Centre, Hurst Road DA15 9AE. After a short warm up (possibly disco-themed) it'll be a gentle 1.3km run along Hurst Road to the junction with Penhill Road. We'll be running at a pace to make sure no-one is left behind.

From there we'll head towards Bexley putting leaflets through letterboxes on one side of the road, and come back doing the same on the other side of the road. Then a final jog back to the Leisure Centre.

If you prefer not to run you can meet us at 7pm at the junction of Hurst Road and Penhill Road, DA5 3EA.

Walkable

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.

Options are available to run between 3km and 3km in total

Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
