Green Skills LibraryWe will be helping a new charity this week - Green Skills Library.
Their mission is to bring people together by focusing on people's health and wellbeing, while promoting sustainability and biodiversity.
We will be helping them with their mission to re-use and re-purpose materials by helping them to turn wooden pallets into planters which will then be donated to local social housing groups.
This weeks task will mainly involve the preparation work, ie breaking down the pallets and then next week's session will focus on creating the planters. We will be guided by our task leader on the night so no previous experience is required!
The task is located inside the Nicholson Centre, but we will meet outside Coopers Estate Agents and we will enter the centre together as it will be closed at this time. Please do not be late as you will not be able to enter without assistance. Contact Jess if there are any issues!
If you don't want to wait on the street corner in the dark join me for a chatty walk from the Maidenhead Community Centre - see the 'getting there' section for more details.
