Run to Clean Up Cowslip Meadow

The conservation volunteers were busy at Cowslip Meadow recently, cutting back the scrub and brambles but there is a lot of litter on site that needs collecting and disposing of properly. There's also a couple of unwanted non-native plants to be removed as well.

Konni from Friends of People's Park and Edible High Town will be there in her new role with the Wildlife Trust, who will be hosting an educational walk on the meadow later in the year.

Plus we've been asked to check on and weed the trees we planted previously in the hedge by the river on Kingsdown Road. That one should be a quick job so we'll stop by there on the way to or from the main task.

We will meet up in The Galaxy to prepare for our run out to Cowslip Meadow and return back there to cool down and say goodnight.
