Our Goodgym and Achilles International crew had a wonderful time at Stratford Olympic Park last night, participating in the Runthrough Chase The Moon Halloween Special 5km and 10km. Awesome atmosphere, and excellent guiding skills on show around a busy course. Great support from our cheer squad and our guide dog companions Hugo and Mario too. Well done everyone!

Felt very welcomed. The group was well organised, clear instruction provided at the start and chat at the end. Would recommend.

The Goodgym guide running crew were thrilled to join Achilles International for a very special version of our weekly group run. Janice, one of our long time regulars, celebrated 80 years on Sunday. Together, we organised a picnic and a social after our regular run at Paddington Rec Track. Absolutely wonderful to join in on these well deserved celebrations!

On Thursday evening, Goodgym collaborated with the visually impaired running group Achilles International London for an excellent session at Battersea Park. Together, we met at Battersea Power Station Underground Station and walked to the famous bandstand in the centre of the park itself.
We were thrilled to welcome Mario on this particular evening, a keen VI Runner visiting London from Greece. He had been recommended to co.e a d join us for a social get-together and a smashing run in the heart of London.
Good luck to all VI Runners and Guides at The Big Half this weekend. It will be a blast!
Come and join us at Paddington Rec Track next week

The Achilles International crew returned to the Stratford Olympic Park last night, for an incredible evening of sociable group running. Together, our visually impaired runners and guides made the most out of the beautiful pedestrianised avenues surrounding Westham Stadium, The London Aquatics Centre and the Velopark.

Goodgym and the Achilles International UK chapter (visually impaired running group) met at Battersea Power Station Tube on Thursday evening, ready for a glorious evening of social group running. Together, we made our way to the bandstand in the centre of Battersea Park, and paired up for an hour of intervals, chatty runs, tempo sessions and practice for future Runthrough events. We were also joined by 5 adorable working dogs (4 guide dogs and 1 service dog), who were taken on walks around the park or given lots of scruffs by our bag drop volunteers! Well done everyone!
Next week, we will be training at Emirates Stadium, meeting at Arsenal tube station (Thursday 1st August, 6pm):
