Sunflower Streets Residents' Association (SSRA) is a community group for those living on Bonner Hill Rd, Piper Rd & Rowlls Rd in sunny Norbiton (Kingston)
In addition to organising monthly Play Streets events, annual street parties and other community-spirited and environmental initiatives, the association acts as a collective voice on issues that affect our neighbourhood, giving households a platform to raise shared concerns. We also work in collaboration with other local neighbourhood groups for other positive initiatives, such as co-organising regular litter picks in Fairfield Recreation Ground alongside Tricorn Residents' Association.28 GoodGymers have supported Sunflower Streets Residents' Association (SSRA) with 21 tasks.

This afternoon we came together to spruce up this recreation ground with other members of the community, clearing it of litter whilist having a chat.

This afternoon 5 goodgymers met to help other local residents to clean and tidy up this well used public space. We found several items that corresponded to recent events in our yearly calenders. This was all done whilist chatting and then finished off as always with a nice but naughty treat from the lady at the cafe here, managing to dodge the rain [ bonus]!

This afternoon just as a nice refreshing shower happened, litter pickers and bags were collected by myself and members of the kingston community to do our bit making the wombles proud, and Mike Batt looking down on us. Followed off by a cookie dropped off by the lady in the cafe inside the park whilist having a chat.

Frosty litter pick

Today at 2pm, Emily, Adam, Charlotte, Rachel and Dave met at Fairfield Park and went for a lovely litter pick around the perimeter. Even though the ground was solid and frosted over we enjoyed the warm sun and picked up as much litter as we could find.
