A local patrol of the borough found us a wonderful mix of rubbish and bindweed to take care of.
While not a complete haul, it definitely gave me ideas for sessions in the future!

A hot and sweaty evening saw two goodgymmers help get some trees into the ground to keep up the greening of Furnival Gardens.
Along side the dragging of root balls and digging of holes, we helped keep the local area watered and Michelle ably helped a shrub stand on its own two feet (in a manner of speaking)
A great evening out!

A sweaty monday left many our Goodgymmers moist turning up to Sheperds Bush but we got the work done!
A welcome change to the process meant no longer taking the clothes off the hangers before they're put into the box, although the new technique did take a while for some of us to pick up!
Thanks to all who came! As always you made the mission both impactful and a delight.

An unfortunate mix-up with the lock up meant we were reduced to our bare hands to tackle some of the spikier plants that Loris gardens had to offer.
Fortunately, both me and biscuits are seasoned veterans whose hands are callused with the best of them (not mine actually, it still hurt a little bit!) and so the weeds stood little chance against our expert assault.
A lovely catch up as well on the Euros and other bits and bobs saw time flew by and we both decided that to make tracks before the weirdly autumnal weather for summer got worse!

With the coming of summer comes the season for tins and bottles to be tossed carelessly into the gardening beds of Hammersmith and Fulham.
To rectify this, we took to the streets of Hammersmith to root out these misplaced tins and put them where they are meant to be put in the bin.
Not evident from the photos is the mere metres it is from the tins resting places to the bins they were placed in, proving again that no job is too big nor too small for Goodgym!

Another solo group run unfortunately due to a late cancellation, I went on a little scout around Ravenscourt Park to clear up any mess.
Got a few bottles and other bits and bobs so hopefully less plastic finds its way into the ecosystem!
