This week we were pleased to help out with the final week of the No Sweat Running Community C25K club.
Adam did a pre run with the main club. Anne and I went there in the park a little later as we were at a talk on mental health and running which was excellent.
It was really warm and we all found the heat made running difficult, but everyone did well and it was a very positive session.
Although No Sweat have now finished the programme, we will start our own from next week. Keep an eye out for the events.

The title of this report is a shoutout to one of the No Sweat runners, Ben, who despite being easily the fastest of all the runners in both GoodGym and No Sweat, generously waited until the last person had finished their workout. As a young gentleman, he represents the best of his generation.
Tonight 3 GoodGym runners joined forces with the No Sweat Running Community to help the group on week 8 of their journey. This has been such a lovely journey seeing the progress week to week and the effort put in by everyone.
One unexpected thing that has come out of this series of sessions is the immense sense of community. 2 of the runners that took part from week 1, have not been able to continue due to injury, BUT they have turned up anyway to encourage their new found friends on their journeys.
For me this was magical to see and I really feel privileged to have been able to be involved.
No Sweat will finish their C25K program after next week's graduation session but we will continue this and try to expand it.

This week was a big step up for most of our couch to 5k runners.
For the first time in their lives they managed to run for 25 mins without stopping.
The progress they have made in just 7 weeks is amazing to be a part of, and they are rightfully proud of themselves.
Its really nice being able to pay it forward to the next set of potential GoodGym members, so do come along if you can to the next one.

This evening James, Wayne, & Adam assisted local running club No sweat Running in their couch to 5k running programme week 6 ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ It was a grey evening but we still had a good turn out. This week the training programme was for everyone to run for 20mins. The effort everyone put in was amazing and everyone made it look so easy.
James was also able to Run but not at his normal speed as he is still recovering from his leg injury.
After the session we all had a warm down and a good natter about everyones efforts and discussed next weeks session.. Do come and join us if you can.

This evening James, Wayne, & Eddie assisted a local running club No Sweat Running Community in their couch to 5k running programme ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ.
It was a beautiful evening โ๏ธand was great meeting some amazing people today was week 5 of the running programme which consisted of 5 mins of running and 3 mins of recovery this being done 3 times.
The effort from everyone was superb even Rocket the dog ๐ถ was enjoying the exercise and treats from Big Rich.
After the session we all had a warm down and a good natter about everyones efforts and discussed next weeks session.
