At Regather Works Cultural Center we have created a space for people to work together. We have rooms for hire, a venue, micro brewery, commercial kitchen & cafe space. Our products include a weekly organic veg box service, event organisation & catering. At our venue in Sharrow we host lots of different gigs, film nights, supperclubs, pop-ups, networking events, craft workshops & more. Each year we organise the Folk Forest alongside Tramlines Festival. Get in touch to find out more about what we do & our facilities hire.
157 GoodGymers have supported Regather with 32 tasks.

What a perfect night for a lovely inside task!
On a bit of a bleak drizzly Sheffield eve we made our way to our old friends Regather to do some painting of the events space which will soon be put back into action which we're all looking forward to.
We met Jess and Rachel on site who got us up and running straight away with rollers, brushes and paint at the ready!
Some went for the tall stuff, some the small detail stuff, it was all appreciated by the team at Regather.
We were well looked after with cups of tea, coffee and the groups fave hot chocolate made for the team!
After a decent sesh the painted areas were looking loads better and I'm sure it won't be long until a bunch of us are in there enjoying events to come!
Until next time, happy running! :)

A HUGE GG welcome to new runner, coming all the way from Peru to check out GGSHEFF....
Support her and cheer her by clicking on her name above, welcome to the squad Alessa!
This week was HUGE with so many runners coming out on a brisk Jan eve to do good in the steel city!
This weeks good was to help REGATHER and GORGEOUS GARETH with the planting of 200 spring bulbs around the Regather HQ so that it is beautiful come spring for all visitors and local residents who regularly pass through.
On arrival we split into 4 teams. With one team doing a bit of plogging around the site the other teams were either planting bulbs or coming to do some exercise. After a spell we swapped around with everyone getting a chance to get some exercise as well as exercise their bulb planting skills.
Exercise wise this week we had a go at an EMOM session - Every Minute On the Minute, where we tried to complete 20 reps of an exercise and once complete we had the remaining time up to the minute we were on to recover so you could either choose to smash it out quick and have longer to recover or take a bit longer and lower the intensity of the exercise. Everyone did really well and we got in;
Even the local were cheering us on from the high rises!
It's better than watching TV . R.Kenning
Once we were all done we paused to witness the final bulb being planted by Gareth as we all watched on in a circular cult like fashion (we're not a cult, honest....)
Shall we all hold hands? T.Archer
On route back we tried a little team game involving wall sits and ramp sprints, which for sure brought out some competition in some, lovely to see.
Thanks all for a great eve and until next time....
Happy Running :)

We started this week with a good GGSHF cheer for three new runners. Please welcome and cheer;
This week we also welcomed Lucy who was a trainer in LDN who has made the move up to the mighty Steel City along with boyfriend Paul who also used to be a trainer in LDN, look forward to seeing more of you both soon!
We were back off up to Lynwood Gardens last night to help REGATHER with the maintenance that is required to keep this fantastic community space (which includes a woodland kindergarten). This weeks tasks included;
Everyone got really stuck in, Chris, Dan & Chris commitment on the wheelbarrows was incredible, running full barrows up and down the hills to supply the spreaders with a steady supply of the chip!
After a good session we downed tools and headed in the direction of home. On route back we used and underpass for some paired high knees/wall sit action and threw some extended loops, stair sets and loop back on for good measure.
On return to base we stretched off, heard the latest and showed our appreciation to Chris who will be away now for a little while until Nov, best of luck Chris, look forward to having you back.
Until next time, happy running!

On a glorious sun shining evening we welcomed no less than FOUR new @GGSHEFF runners. Big cheers for;
Hope you all enjoyed it and will be along in future weeks!
After welcoming our new runners and doing are standard count up, brief and group photo we headed up into the centre of town to the rear of the Winter gardens with some circular squats and stair sets thrown in to keep the group together over the traffic lights.
At the winter gardens we met Gareth, Doug and Tim from the REGATHER team who along with our GG Task Force Team captains Kim, Sam and Steve would help us co-ordinate and assemble three big marquees ready for Sheffield Food Festival where REGATHER will be doing all sorts of non for profit pay as you feel foody activities to engage the local public in sustainable and local food!
By the end of the eve the three marquees were all beautifully erect with poles all in the correct places, bungees lashed down tight and water buts ratcheted to ensure nothing gets blown away.
Well that was pretty intense.... - Steve Gilmer
With time pretty tight we only had time for a quick group abs session on the nearby grass consisting of;
We head home and stretched off on the grass before hearing the latest news which included Sam reaching 200 good deeds and Steve reaching a huge 250! Massive congrats to you both!
Until next time, happy running :)

On our last group run before the Xmas and NY break we had a fantastic bunch who came adorned in Xmas jumpers, hats, lights and all sorts.
Be safe, be seen.
On this nights festive run we headed of to Regather proper as opposed to Lynwood Gardens where we have been heading more recently. We met Gareth with tools in hand and he gave us a festive brief of the evenings tasks which included;
With team captains quickly established we got straight to it and everyone got stuck into their tasks and the area was a lot better for it which will become even more evident once the light comes around.
Before heading home we used the surrounding areas offerings to get some festive fitness in which this week included:
WIth a few loop backs for good measure on the rout back we stretched off and headed into the Showroom to have festive drinks over festive music and enjoyed some card sharing and good wishes for the new year!
Until 2019, happy running!

Despite the damp weather the @GGSHEFF spirits were not as we headed out onto the Steel City Streets on route to Lynwood Gardens to continue with our work to help GORGEOUS GARETH of REGATHER fame with the ongoing work needed to keep the space usable and attractive for the local Kindergarten and local public who use the space.
On arrival we split into 2 teams and got straight to it;
On the way back we made a couple of brief pauses for the following;
Once back at base we stretched off and heard the latest including Serge's up and coming debut Sheffield drama performance, good luck Serge!
Until next time, happy running ;)
