It was Southampton Actions event day - providing clothes and household items and toys to women and children.
Laura and Wilson helped to load the Van at Townhill - Laura was a pro packer, worries about not being able to fit everything in the van were soon squashed once Lau started to pack it.
The van moved onto the event location where Laura and Wilson helped to unload the van and display the bags and then the hats, scarves, gloves and jewellry. They received much praise for their display skills!

A lovely morning spent with Southampton Action sorting childrens clothes. We joined in with a lovely group of volunteers creating a lovely atmosphere, great team spirit and a feeling of community. There was a mountain of clothes to sort but always time for a giggle.... it turns out if you dont know what size something is or where to put it you ask Laura and she grabs it to look and then voila... no longer your problemo!
Wilson set the fun bar by becoming an Avenger... but kinda got trumped by Laura who put tights on her head (her mums... not sure if knowing that makes it better or worse) ha ha

The session went really well! Southampton Action has been buried under donations needing sorting but with the help of the volunteers we managed to sort through more than 20 boxes of donations.
The volunteers there are really friendly and committed to helping the community. Will definitely go again!
