Our last Thursday evening GG Windsor session for January found us back at Windsor and Eton FC to tackle some tired tables.
We met at the Boots/Binoy on the Dedworth Road, did the welcome and a warm up led by our fabulous run leader Amy.
You’ll never walk alone Sheila did in fact walk alone but beat the runners Devon, Julie and Mandy as she won the throw and went ahead.
At the task we met with Sol had a little game of dribbling, where Sheila was nutmegged and fun exercises while the task owner Anthony organised the fixture.
After the team talk we hit the woodwork and put in a shift with a clean sheet of sandpaper ensuring we did not go against the grain. It was a beautiful finish and those league tables are now back in the game.
We all chipped in with such skill that there was no need for extra time.
Soon it was time for an early bath so we made our way back for a stretch and goodbyes but not before a not very polished cheerleading performance 🤣
Give me a G Give me an O Give me an O Give me a D Give me a G Give me a Y Give me a M
Thank you all so much for coming I am your biggest fan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The second of our new regular Thursday night 6:15pm Windsor session of the season. This week is was a bit chilly but again a fantastic turn out at Windsor and Eton FC. Great to see you all again ♥️ and also Devon who was on his debut. 👏🏻 A big warm welcome to Devon!
Thank you to Sophie our captain and run leader for stepping in as sub as poor Amanda is injured 🤕
The team line up for this evening was ….
Sophie Sol Jen Caroline Helen Devon Amy Michelle Mandy Charlotte
We had a quick warm up/ pre run stretch before setting off for the 1.5mile/2.4k transfer window to the task.
Our formation was the walkers set off up front as runners did some extra pre game warm up.
Our defenders were there at the back to make sure we all got there safely.
The rest of the team met us at the task including the gaffer (task owner) Mark and his brother Anthony. They gave us a team talk about task tactics and we set to work.
We then gave the gate a good rub down with wire brushes and sand paper until the full time whistle.
Once we were all done we made our way home from the task or run/walk back to the meeting point for final scores.
They thought it was all over … and it is now ⚽️ well until next time because they loved us 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⚽️🥅
A big thank you to Mandy for making this happen in Windsor after lots of hard work and for the photos and run report.
