Adi and Paul litter picked in two Lewisham parks (Brookmill Park and Mayow Park) and one that straddles the boundary with Bromley - Alexandra Recreation Ground.
Adi doubled up in Saturday's gloom with the pair in Sydenham; Paul a day earlier in sunny Deptford where the herons were starting to nest above the Ravensbourne. Regular litter picking there is making a big difference.

Adi and Paul litterpicked in both north and south Lewisham Paul in Deptford and Adi (presumably) in Sydenham's Mayow Park.
Paul's session had a quartet of herons, the Gil Scotts, with a pair of foxes intently watching the herons. The river level in the Ravensbourne was significantly down on recent weeks so there were a lot of muddy can, bottles and other rubbish uncovered by the retreating water.

Paul and Adi did their normal double act of litter picking in different bits of Lewisham - Adi in Mayow Park in Sydenham and Paul in on the Ravensbourne's flood plain in Deptford's Brookmill Park. The latter had flooded during the week and was strewn with muddy plastics and paper. it was still impassable in places due to standing water and the river level was high. About a black bag full of litter deposited by the river was collected. Three dumped Lime bikes and one dumped shopping trolley were reported too.
