GIVE EM A CHEER!
We were back off to Lynwood Gardens again this week to continue helping Regather at this urban forest sight. On arrival GORGEOUS GARETH quickly got us into teams and briefed us in the task that this week involved;
It was a hi-hoe, hi-hoe, it's off to work we go for all, with Sister Sledge KIM going for it with the MC Hammer to Fun-guy TERRIFIC TOM (see pic for pun..), to our group of ladies chipping away at their piles all were getting stuck in, can you be-weave it? Well, I suppose where there's a willow, there's a way...
Once we all got packed up we headed over to the nearby by playground that took the group for a walk on the wild slide (Feel da riddem, feel the ride, come on up, it's GoodGym time).
On the way home we had a 'not so secret' sprinter who went off like a rocket off the front for some sprint and return interval work before returning back to base to the beautiful grass to get stretched off until next week!

Ali Coldwell has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Ali is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

At close of a great weekend at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (SHAFF) we had an extra run as part of the SHAFF programme.
We were joined by 2 new fantastic runners:
Give em a cheer!
After being papped in the Showroom bar area and outside we set off to meet Sensational Steve of CADS fame who gave us the evenings brief which including braking down of pallets, smashing up a wardrobe ready to be made into planters outside and painting ceilings.
On the way back we got in a quick HANG TOUGH session with pairs swapping between hanging (with optional knee/leg raises and/or pull ups) and tri dips, press ups, step ups/box jumps.
After a stretch off on return to base we said our good byes until tomorrows run when normal Monday service resumes.
