A great night in Greenhead Park for GoodGym and Stadium Runners. Great to have Alison Cottam, Sandra Emmerson and Carl Lecomber on board with Kati Law and myself to help weed one of the Park's big borders.
Thanks too to Jane from the Friends of Greenhead Park for setting up the task.

We were certainly off to a flyer for our first joint Stadium Runners/GoodGym session. Eight of us swiftly dispatched some 500 flyers promoting the Forget Me Not Hospice Colour Run through letterboxes in and around the Gledholt and Springwood areas.
Great to have Julie Wooton, Janet Shaw, Ian Du Feu and John Cottam along for the first time, in addition to established GoodGymmers Kati Law, Ben Godfrey and Alison Cottam. It was nice too to discover that I hadn't lost my touch and could still show the Stadium Runners one or two streets in Huddersfield they didn't know existed!
Thanks folks....great fun, a good job done and an excellent effort from all. Really good to have the Stadium Runners along as part of the group. Looking forward to next month's session already!

It was an autumnal evening. The weather wasn’t ‘cracking’, but five GoodGymmers ran 5km along the Greenway to help S2R to make their overgrown cobbled yard safe for users. This involved lots of weeding between the cracks, but in usual GoodGym style we worked quickly and cleared the whole yard in an hour. S2R have invited us back next week to do some painting and planting. Hope to see there!

When Rachel from Growing works wished for a path on their community allotment to be weeded, cleared and covered in woodchips the least GoodGym could do was oblige.
An hour's worth of hard labour from Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, Louise Galvin, David Bilton, Alison Cottam and myself saw the path looking more chipper and Rachel looking very pleased with the fruits of our efforts.
Well done team!
