Goodgymers came back to help on the farm. We noticed the 6 new born lambs who were born 2 weeks before. The father is the same but from different mothers. The farm went through some new developments since our last visit. They are preparing to reopen soon. This time we helped Bex shifting soil at the water front near the coffee shop. Decluttering the shed and cleaning the sheep yard. At the end of the mission we had coffee, tea and cakes to finish the day.

Amy Strike earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Amy completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Amy was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

GoodGym was asked back to Peckham Town FC this morning for the third in a successful summer series of tasks to help them out.
Welcome to all the new runners that joined us for the first time today. It was great to see so many new faces!
On arrival, we split into two teams. Most people stayed at the main clubhouse to dig some dirt and create the foundation of a new turnstyle and socially distanced bar area. Those of us that were more hesitant to volunteer for the tough work were transferred to the other clubhouse to paint the changing rooms.
The team were really happy with our work, and promised to sing the praises of GoodGym Southwark throughout the Borough. Keep an eye on Southwark News!
We were also invited to come back to watch a match. If you're keen I'll be in touch soon with more details.
Great work team.
