we had a cold start today to 2026 but it didn't stop the fab four of Ashley at Melton, Martin at abbeypark and Jimmy and Ian at Braunstone all making the world a better place well done everyone.

Today was the start of 2026 and some things never change we had goodgymers doing good deeds for the Parkrun community in Leicester. we had Nick and Ashley at Melton at watermead we had Dave and Dan and at Braunstone we had Amanda and Ian a great start to new year well done everyone 👏

We had 2 goodgym volunteers giving up Christmas 🎄 morning to help the parkrun community celebrate 🥳 Christmas day we had Ian at Braunstone and Ashley at Melton both events had very big attendances your help was much appreciated.

There is brighter times ahead for us all and at parkrun today we had goodgym volunteers in Nick and Martin at abbeypark and at Braunstone we had Amanda, Jimmy and Sheila and at Melton we had Ashley all making the world 🌎 a better place ❤️

Today we joined in with donating to our local charity shops. All donations were gratefully received and I picked up a few bargains too from my little village charity shop.
