Another Saturday of Goodgym combining with parkrun, as Raull and Bal set up the course at Perry Hall in my absence. Over at Edgbaston Reservoir, Amy and Ryan were part of the team putting on another 5k around the water.

Six goodgymers helped make parkrun happen across 2 events in Birmingham today. John and Bal set up the course at Perry Hall before taking part, and Raull was again one of the Tail Walkers. Also Tail Walking today was Liam at Edgbaston Reservoir, while Richard was Timekeeping and Balal was giving out tokens.

On a clear Saturday morning, under dramatic red skies (which I managed to get a photo of before it drew away into dreariness), five goodgymers helped at three parkruns across and just outside the city of Birmingham. I set up at Perry Hall with Bal, Ben scanned barcodes at Walsall Arboretum, while Liam was the Run Director at Edgbaston Reservoir and Richard joined him to scan barcodes as well, after he had finished running.

On this weeks edition of GG does parkrun, we were joined by a group of Swans, who posed some potential obstacles at the start of the run! John was joined this week by Bal at Perry Hall, while Matt helped out at Edgbaston Reservoir, stepping in at the last minute again to help out!

It was another week of GoodGym doing a little bit to keep parkruns across Birmingham running. Balal was timekeeping at Edgbaston Reservoir and Naneesh and Bal once again got the course set up at Perry Hall. Balal went for a Man Utd away shirt to celebrate the signing of Christiano Ronaldo, and his own birthday, as opposed to the GoodGym red today.

This week we had five goodgymers helping at two parkruns in Birmingham. Liam was giving out tokens and Aslaug was marshaling at Edgbaston Reservoir. Naneesh was out early with Bal setting up the course at Perry Hall while John set up the finish area. Naneesh was then able to take part while James scanned the finishing tokens and John was timekeeping using the app. With the rain deciding to fall just after the start time at 9am, it turned out to be a better day to stand under an umbrella, with a lot of slog and toil for the runners being celebrated by all the volunteers.
