Sheila, Carol and Karen helped at the Baby Bank this morning, following the usual routine of clothes checking and sorting. Punctuated every now and again with a cry for help from downstairs to help carry donations upstairs. We were pleased to be able to leave the sorting tables empty by the end of the session, ready for business to resume after the bank holiday weekend

Baby Bank regulars Carol, Karen and Sheila settled down to a peaceful morning of clothes donation sorting. We conquered the piles in the end, that is, until next week!

Today's session at the Baby Bank was a productive and peaceful one, with Karen, Carol and Sheila on clothes sorting while Caroline was asked to take on the shoe challenge. We surprised Carol at tea-break with a medal to celebrate her 50th Good Deed, most of which have been at the Baby Bank where she has become an experienced and valued member of the volunteering team.Well done Carol. Go and order your black Tshirt, and here's to the next 50!

It was a small team at the BabyBank this week as they didn’t have enough leaders on site to host a large team. Carol and Karen were tasked with sorting through the donations to find those on the most needed list and carrying out the first checks on them. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of the chat with the other two regular volunteers. A very pleasant way to spend a morning.
