Craig Shardlow completed their first weekend mission.
Craig has forgone the usual weekend routine. Instead of lie-ins, roasts and strolls around the park Craig has dropped everything to run a GoodGym mission for someone who needed help. Respect

Simple task today, helping take a fridge/freezer to Mr V’s house.
Zoe and Craig picked it up from a nearby neighbour and took it to Mr V’s up the road. Him and Mrs S (who we collected the fridge from) we’re incredibly nice and appreciative.
Job done
P.s forgot to take a picture. So recycled an old one

Kingston upon Thames Report written by Petra Stockelmayerova
Four GoodGymers gathered to our regular haunt on Sunday morning to help with few tasks on Julie’s list. Under the watchful eye of Brian, Craig got on with trimming to tops and sides of the hedges lining the fence whilst Zoe, Emily and Petra took on the weeds in the path. With a rock solid ground, it was a workout and a half but Zoe’s resilience and determination to get to the roots of the weeds paid off, leaving the path nice and clear. We were all rewarded with a beautiful fresh lettuce to take home. Happy Sunday!

Today we moved a little bit closer to finishing the paving at the Hogsmill garden
We had to keep a “level head” to make sure the paving slabs didn’t slope to one side
Brian provided some moral support as well as Tea and cake for afterwards

Kingston upon Thames Report written by Rachel White
Our Tuesday group run took us to 3rd Kingston Scout Group to help tidy up the outside of their hut. They have two car parks that had started to get overgrown with weeds and the mild weather had caused these weeds to grow! GoodGym got prepared to do our duty.
We split into two groups: Claire, Craig and Fionn took the back car park to tackle the perimeter where the weeds were knee high and Tara, Martel, Dave and Tom climbed the grassy mound in the front car park to sort the weeds, nettles and litter. Interesting finds such as bottles of vodka, takeaway wrappers and lighters were found in the grass - not the sort of thing that scouts need for their badges. It was tough work but we cleared a good amount of weeds and rubbish and we promised to come back and help another time as we didn't quite finish clearing the nettles.
Did we earn a GoodGym badge for our sleeves? I think so... Dib dib dib.
We celebrated our our evening with a GoodGym social in the Albion for 2-4-1 burgers - yum, yum.
