7 goodgymmers braved a cold wind to help out with junior parkrun today.

Today we had a west end runners takeover at Victoria parkrun and we had Lisa and Abul there, at watermead we had Jeanette, Katy and Dave. At Melton we had Nick, At Braunstone we had Ian and another westie in Jimmy. We had Martin at Abbeypark which was hosting the Lantern tribute mile for Stand-up for Cancer well done all.

Five Goodgymmers came to support The Rotary Club of the Wreake Valley with their Santa Sleigh collection around the housing estate. This is a favourite annual task starting, appropriately, at one end of Nicklaus Drive, Santas sleigh is towed around every side road and cul-de-sac until we get to the other end two hours later. The kids love to come out for a photo opportunity standing on the sleigh and the older ones dig deep to put something in the buckets. Stu wins the award for best outfit.

Fourteen GoodGymmers gathered at Gynsills, Leicester for a Christmas get together filled with jumpers, sequins, glitter, and classic red GoodGym T's. We filled the longest table they had.

Everyone happily opted for the carvery, piling plates with all the trimmings. But the real showstopper? The desserts. One of them looked like it could feed a small family, and the collective gasp around the table said it all. Faces lit up even more when the doggy bags appeared haha.

It was an evening full of fun, laughter, and plenty of catching up. Some people met fellow GoodGymmers they’d only ever heard about from different days and groups, making the night feel even more special. Shout out to Jimmy who made the journey on his bike, keeping up the Goodgym ethos! And a special shout out for Lindsay who organised the event weldone!

Today we had a lot of people doing good at Parkrun we had Martin at Abbeypark we had Katy and Dave at watermead and at Braunstone we had Jimmy, Sheila and Amanda who completed her 50th goodgym good deed well done all.
