Today we had 4 goodgymers doing good deeds we had Jeanette at watermead, Dave at Abbeypark, Jimmy and Ian at Braunstone Ian done his 100th parkrun volunteering welcome to the 100 club 👍 welldone all

5 goodgymmers helped Thier local junior parkrun break their attendance recorded with 162 runners taking part (and many more adults too!)

Nick was time keeper and trolley man at Melton.

A great time spent with Rich & Pete from CRT, who with seven of the Leicester GG team got cracking cutting back the overgrown vegetation blocking the towpath and clearing up the rubbish. Dave saved a Hobby Horse from its watery demise - made a change from the usual shopping trolleys that we pull out of the water. Rich enjoyed his first Leicester session and will be back 🤞 Todays tally of retrieved rubbish: 13 coconuts, 8 bags of rubbish, 3 chairs and 1 Horse! Well done Nick, Julie,Melanie,Dave,Stu,Rich + Jen.

Weldone to 3 amazing GoodGymmers who spent Friday morning lending a hand at the Age UK Superstore. They got stuck in tagging lots of clothes, helping get them ready for sale and supporting a great cause.
