Saturday 16th May

Elaine Stevenson has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Elaine is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

We met at the Clifton Down Growing Space today to make another dent in the massive pile of soil that was originally delivered, which is now but a tiny mound.
Scoop the soil into the wonderful assortment of buckets (I think we all have a favourite, and least favourite by now), carry to the beds and tip, repeat.
A couple of hours of this and a variety of topics of conversation covered and we called time. The rain held off (mostly) and a great morning to be out getting some exercise and doing some good.
Until next time…
Saturday 9th May

Elaine Stevenson earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Elaine completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Elaine was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Another call from the organisers of the Clifton Down Growing Space who needed some GoodGym support, to fill the lined planters with soil, ready to rent these out to members of the local community.
Dave, Jordan, Elaine, Mercha and Pearl (the dog), busied themselves shovelling the dwindling mountain of soil into buckets and shifting these over to fill the planters.
We are getting close to using up all of the soil and another session next week will hopefully see the remainder shifted!
