Bournemouth Report written by Eleanor King (she/her)
After a drizzly, grey afternoon in Bournemouth on Friday, the wind picked up and blew the clouds away in time for a (almost) perfectly pink sunset to guide the 3, 5 and 10km walkers for the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity who were raising money for life-changing breast cancer treatment. Just one GoodGymmer, Eleanor, was pitched at the 5km turning point, glow stick and sign in hand, to marshal and cheer-on the walkers as they paved their way across the seafront, starting at the Pier, passing the Toft ZigZag (3km), Boscombe Pier (5km) and Sobo, in Southbourne (10km).

Five Goodgymmers, Eleanor, Roger, Daryl, Keith and Lea, had another go at attacking the Spanish Bluebells, by fair means or foul... digging them out with bulbs and all or deadheading them. We again filled a number of wheelbarrows and the garden is looking very blueless now, much to David's delight. He will get their regular volunteers to plant new stuff. Thanks for your hard work everyone.

Bournemouth Report written by Daryl Venner
Daryl and Eleanor met and left running around 4 miles in opposite directions, in between clearing up Bournemouth Gardens with their mighty litter pickers! One whole bag full was gathered (the area was reasonably tidy for once!), with the usual cans and food packets, all the like, but a star littered-tin-can shining just off the path by the shrubs would come to prove Daryl's immense dedication and determination to improve our lovely green spaces here in Bournemouth... as he well and truly got stuck in the boggy mud collecting said can, losing both his shoes and turning his white sport socks brown as he hopped to safety! (All Eleanor could do was laugh, but of course, save the trainers).
