London's Community Half Marathon!

Camden Report written by Alex Murtough (he/him)
There is a special community that meets - in an unsuspecting basement - on Tottenham Court Road every Wednesday during the year's colder months.
Orchestrated by the brilliant Brooke and the team (including the super kind Russell) at the American International Church, different community groups come together to cook, build beds, and make a home for an evening. 💚
The C4WS Homeless Project provides warm respite from the streets and a supportive step towards stable accommodation.
Since October, our wonderful GoodGym folk have been setting up dining rooms, assembling camp beds, and finding out the best way to fight with a duvet cover.
And last night was no different ☺️
Our lovely group - of Alex, Auriela, Caitlin, Gosia, Jackie, John, Louise, Siobhan, and Steve - worked with aplomb and speed, and all whilst sharing stories and laughter ♥️
We'll certainly be back as soon as the evenings sharpen and darken 💛
Thank you, everyone, for bringing your energy and time last night!!

Camden Report written by Gosia Rybacka
Gosia volunteered at Caledonian Junior Parkrun today.
Although the weather is just gorgeous this weekend, mornings tend to be still pretty chilly! But as the run progressed, it was getting sunnier and warmer ☀️🌡.
Before the run started, Gosia participated in the warm up demonstrating the exercises to the youngsters and their parents incl. sun jumps ☀️, swimmers 🏊♂️, gorilla stomps 🦍 and some butt-kicks 🦵.
She was marshalling today and was assigned with position 1, close to the start line. She supported herself with the bubble machine 🫧 to give and extra boost for the youngsters when starting their run as well as when completing subsequent laps.
The event wasn't very popular today, apparently because of the half terms. For everyone who was there, it seemed like a great start of this Sunday morning.
