Welcome to our new runners Victoria, Tamasine, Cathryn. Great to have you along with us!
17 runners went to Ark T in Temple Cowley. We delivered a no Sugar poster to Wild Honey Health food shop on the way for Good Food Oxford!
We picked litter, dug up weeds, swept sand back into their sandpit and moved their toys back to the mud kitchen!
Feeling like Champs We then went to BeauChamp street to play another round of King of the hill.. Any opportunity for a hill session!! ;).
We also had a bit of time to split into Caterpillars , Team A for Angus and Team B for Ben (with support from Trev and Julia) who split our bumper group up to have a go at leading a wiggly caterpillar around Florence Park. Thanks also to Sarah for running back to get the litter pickers Trev left!! We all made it home just before another massive storm broke.. eeek! At least we have 2 caterpillars and a whole load of loo roll, beans, pasta and hand sanitizer!
A final little video for you
Here is us celebrating Julias Fab new #BLACKGG50Tshirt!! who will be next? could it be you?... celebrating Julia's Black 50 Tshirt dance!

Welcome to Cassy, our new runner this evening!
12 Runners went to the Oxford Hub! on the way we put up posters for Good Food Oxford to raise awareness about healthy amounts of sugar!
We called at cafes and supermarkets.. we attempted to put posters in fast food places where people buy sugary drink and also heath food shops!
Team Julia and Team Ben split and went different ways from Little Clarendon street into Jericho and towards the city center. They put up the posters and also posted leaflets for Oxford HUB's new home to residents!
Team Emma stayed at the hub, to mop floors, wipe mirrors, clean tables, and break down boxes... and eat chocolate (don't tell the anti-sweets brigade!)!
On the way home we successfully posted in the Library and in a Sainsbury's (the poster is the same colour as their advertising!)
There were a few Jumping Jack Star Jumps outside Carfax tower and I think we all felt balanced that we had burnt the fat we had eaten, and had avoided getting any extra illnesses by washing our hands thoroughly while singing Happy Birthday GoodGym twice (around 20 seconds) and only sneezing into our armpits!
Have a great week!

11 runners went to Little Peeple in Littlemore to help out..
We cleared weeds, swept paths, picked up litter, and dug leaves..
and importantly we drank tea! Little peeple are one of our favorite task for giving us drinks, squash and chocolate biscuits.. I Blame Mark for being a little late back to base as we did get carried away with the tea breaks! ;)
we made occasional stops for star jumps and Burpies on our way..
Well done to Julia who celebrated her 50th Good Deed at the weekend.. an achievement so great that she gets to keep the garland of joy all week!! ;)

13 of us braved the cold to run to St Gregs Primary in Florence Park.
We cleared many thorny brambles, dead plants, and weeds. We dug bits of grass and cleared some raised beds ready for planting. There were a few stings, a couple of spiked fingers and a scare from a moth.. but we all made it through ok!!..
We cleared a shrine of Mary and we collected a few little bits of litter. We found 2 footballs, a deflated dodge-ball, a tennis ball, a connecting bit of Quadro (or similar), and some very old bits of P.E. kit (which must have been there for years!!)
After the task we played hop-scotch and ran around their playground a bit (in pyramid drills and then in a less organized fashion).. *There were star jumps.. oh yes! *
We ran back along the cycle ways by the school and Trev disorientated people with his new knowledge of local streets and local pubs!
Thanks for coming everyone
NEXT Week is our 1st Birthday.. We hope to see you all then!
