Redbridge Report written by Ismail Doghri
Arrived to the store at 12, the employees were very welcoming and more than excited to help. I was able to start my shift right away. As expected, it wasn’t so easy to get people’s attention or open the conversation at first, but I got used to it pretty quick. Noticing that couples and middle aged women (especially with a trolley) were way more likely to be interested and donate helped me target the perfect customers and save some energy in this 6 hours shift. Everyone was lovely and we were able to collect a good amount of food at the end of the day. Always a pleasure to help, it was an enjoyable experience overall.

Ismail Doghri completed 25 good deeds with GoodGym.
Ismail has already done 25 good deeds with GoodGym. Instead of doing anything else, they've used their run to go and help people that need their help; digging, lifting, scraping, clearing, planting and weeding. Stuff that makes this a better place to be.

Barnet Report written by Paul Salman
Ten GoodGym members gathered at Highgate woods to help the Ranger Cindy with tidying up after the torrential rain yesterday. We gathered and introduced ourselves and stated our favourite colour. I think green won out as you might expect in woodland. We also met Hannah on her first GoodGym community mission give her a shout out! (click on the red link and give her some support) We then set about raking up sticks and detritus that had been washed from the forest onto the grass. We needed to do this so that the lawnmower was not wrecked when they came to cut the grass. When we had finished Cindy took us into the woodland to chat about forest management and in particular the recent infestation of The processional moth. Cindy then lead us into a clearing where we did a little yoga focusing on posture and breathing. We hope to be back again at the end of August or September. Thanks for coming getting active ,connected and doing some good!

Southwark Report written by Hayley Williams
We broke a sweat shoveling and shifting big pile of soil and sticks at the beautiful Maychurch Oasis! We uncovered the ground that was heaped with twigs, bricks, mud, snails and plenty of slugs to create more space that can be used and enjoyed within the community garden.
Congratulations to everyone who made it out in the sunshine and getting at least a third of a way through a big job.
There is still more shifting to do so looking forward to returning soon to finish the job.
Great way to spend a lunch break!

Hi Pete, is this meant to be up? Apparently no one is at the Storey Garden for the next two weeks.

People were there but on their way out when I arrived. The mission should have been scheduled for Tuesday apparently.
