Wandsworth Report written by Liv Parker-Scott
So it turns out that a Sunday evening in lockdown is quite possibly the nicest time to ride your bike around London. This combined with a good deed and seeing other GoodGym members out doing the same thing was definitely my weekend highlight!
I was delivering around Wandsworth Town and I also bumped into Jess picking up her deliveries for Streatham and Dave who was heading towards Oval. We were all on our bikes so definitely fulfilled the brief of getting fit while doing good.

A couple of us got soaked on our way to Jubilee Primary School, envisaging the muddy gardening we had ahead of us, with mild trepidation.
But Juan came to the rescue with an indoor task! We set about moving blue tables, red tables, big blue chairs, small blue chairs, big red chairs, small red chairs....you get the picture...
The students who are returning soon will have another reason to be cheerful, in their neatly organised classrooms...

Jessica Foster earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Jessica completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Jessica was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Southwark Report written by Southwark runner
Today a group of GoodGym-mers joined the Friends of Burgess park in picking litter in Burgess Park.
As we arrived we were greeted by Susan and the rest of the Friends of Burgess Park team along with their unmistakable flag. Susan quickly briefed us and set us on the "long grass" area between the church and the "Bridge to Nowhere", whilst other groups tackled the other nature areas of the park.
The park was bustling in the nice weather and we garnered a lot of attention, lots of "thank you"s and hopefully a new GoodGym recruit! Together we filled three hefty bags of litter. Amongst the many bottle caps and beer cans we also found a smoke grenade and a knife(!).
Finally a big welcome to Sinan who joined us for his first GoodGym experience today!
