13 GoodGymers jumped into nature yesterday evening!
This was our first session at our regular haunt, Cecil Sharp House, that felt like spring. It was bright and light, and the forecast thunder swerved us completely š
Which meant that this wonderful group had fine conditions to make a wonderful difference!
And alongside our special and experienced GoodGym faces (Ariane, Gary, Jackie, John, Karen, Sarah, Siobhan, and Thierry) we welcomed first timer Ikram (welcome!) and second-timers Ellen, Giulia, and Krista (great to see you again!) ā¤ļø
And together we:
š Transformed a twig-and-weed-strewn lawn into a perfect patch of green!
š Pruned overgrown shrubs and bushes!
š Planted fresh seeds for flowers yet to blossom!
š Gave every inch of paving a weed-cutting and broom-sweeping manicure!
š Turned a mountainous pile of leaves and clutter into the tidiest spot!

Krista earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Krista completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Krista was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Krista has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Krista is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

11 GoodGymers brought community (and muscle!) to this special North London green space!
Nestled between houses and flats in Holly Lodge Estate is a blossoming green space for the community.
Nurtured and designed by Growing Green (a wonderful charity) this vacant space is steadily becoming an actively loved space for everyone.
And we were there to lend a very helpful hand yesterday morning!

... made a HUGE difference in 90 busy minutes!
There was digging and weeding and planting and shifting materials and boxes and cutting trees and pruning branches, and our task host (Claudia) was truly AMAZED at how much you all did :)
