An absolutely lovely bunch joined Tom from Hillside Gardens Park for a few tasks:
⛏ Digging a trench for a hedge to be planted - this is going to cover up a pretty ugly fence.
🗑 Litter picking around the park - it was surprisingly litter-free 👌
🛠 Sorting out the shed - the local gardeners who look after the allotment are going to love it!
It only took us about 45 minutes to wrap up - GoodGym Lambeth smashing it ✊
Keep an eye out for next week's task - likely at Jubilee Primary School.
And for those of you not already aware, we have a facebook group, whatsapp group and if you fancy joining our bake-off sweet stakes, all the details are in the description of this whatsapp.

Lauren McMillan earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Lauren completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Lauren was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Lauren McMillan has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Lauren is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Shout out to this collective of legends who spent a lovely Tuesday evening up to their knees in weeds.
Roughly our 700th visit to Jubilee Primary School in the last few weeks, and we've nearly completed the weed level.
Big weeds, little weeds, watering pots
After hunting down all the children's tools, we got to work. We bagged them up, watered some plants and after a solid hour we called it a day. One more trip and we'll be done I think - and next time, we're going to chisel away at a load of beautiful clay flowers - Sorry kids, it's for your own safety.
Some of us did a quick hills session to finish - BANTA (if you know, you know 😉).
Lovely to see all of you - but especially Lauren who joined us for her first GG session ever. 🎉 Hope to see you again soon!
Here's a link to Saturday's fake parkrun, next Tuesday's session and also we have a little social in the park on the 24th. The last one was lovely (and wet and windy). Here's the link.
