We were contacted by a local hospital to help gather donations for a Covid Positive ward for elderley and palliative patients as they did not have their own toiletry bags.
We were more than happy to help and we managed to collect a large number of items and drop these off for them to be put into specially made care packs.
THANK YOU SO MUCH - YOU ARE AWESOME GOODGYM TRAFFORD!
Well done and thanks everyone! Another mission completed (and Kate's 50th Good Deed!)

This week we met at our lovely host location of St Matthews Community Hall and were tasked with helping sort and fix chairs that have seen better days. However, first of all we shared our news which included exciting stuff outside of GoodGym but mostly
WE HAVE A FOURTH COACH PAIRED IN TRAFFORD!
Yes, our lovely Trafford member Nicola just got paired up which we are all over the moon about!
As this was one of our regular walkable tasks, once we had warmed up we undertook a fitness sesh as running was off the agenda. We ran, squatted and punched our way through a Tabata workout and managed to work up a sweat!
We had been assigned several piles of chairs and we set about achieving the following: * Sorting chairs into fixed and to be fixed sections * Replacing feet so that they don't scrape the lovely wooden floors * Replacing chairs and * Tidying up the hall
We sorted out nearly 300, well done team!
After we had achieved all that we chatted about our task next week (which is at Gorse Hill Studios) and went off with smiles on our faces!
See you all next time, Kate x

Once we had shared our news (well done and congrats to Katie, Nicola and yours truly) for clocking up 10, 10 and 30 Good Deeds respectively!) we warmed up (thanks to John for leading) and headed off with runners and a walking group too.
We arrived at the Foodbank storage facility and were briefed on our various tasks, Tracey leading a musical squat challenge as a diversion. Then we set to and achieved the following:
MASSIVE WELL DONE ALL!
