A warm welcome back to Matteo (even if the weather itself wasn't all that warm) saw us help out at Brook Green raking up the leaves that sought to bury the raised beds that gave the area such colour.

A late arrival by Biscuits saw a good bolstering of our forces and led us to leaving Brook Green a lot tidier than we found it!

Safe to say we were very disappointed by the lack of litter on our plog this evening, however we made do by scouring several sites.

We welcomed Lucy back to her OG borough after her defection to Goodgym Richmond, and it was wonderful to see Matteo again after a busy few weeks!

As usual the trash we did find encapsulated a wide variety of peoples inabilities to find bins, with the ickiest find most probably the nappy on the side of the road. Not sure I'd want to be hit in the face by that!

Tuesday night we went back to clean up the path we started the prior week.

Though a bit of a grueling task (I now need a comfy kneepad to sit down on to weed) we managed to clear a lot of the path nearly up the front gate and around the pond.

Hopefully meaning the path is much tidier and nicer for people to enjoy!

We came back to the Kathy Dolan centre to make sure it was ready for a fundraising event taking place over the weekend raising money for palliative care.

With some diligent sweeping we cleared the area of a lot of sticks, leaves and associated dirt, with the wind as a constant enemy for our collections.
