A splendid evening as we ventured out in some more fine weather.
Although it was just under 2km each-way... there was some lovely hill sections to climb as we approached the task.
Alison met us at Marion Road Day Centre and asked us to kindly cut the grass (Robert was all over this) and trim back any overgrown areas and clear as many weeds as we could.
The before and after photos will show you what a grand job we did.
Normality was definitely returning as after we arrived back at The Forum, we had our first pub trip since the pandemic begun... enough said, it was an amazing feeling!

GoodGym Runner
Rocío Salado has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Rocío is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

This week's Group Run took us on a 3km each-way run and walk to Oak Grove Community Church.
A big welcome to two new members this week - Rocio and Susanna were taking part in their first Group Runs with us.
Everyone met at The Forum and after a warm-up we set off with Elizabeth being backrunner/walker.
Becca greeted us with tools and explained what we had to do, which was clear as many weeds and overgrown areas as we can.
After 45 minutes we blitzed the area and transformed it.
