A perfect August morning, with great weather conditions for the children to run, parents to spectate and GoodGymers to marshal. Anne, Steve and Karen were there to assist alongside all the other volunteers.
An excellent turnout of 170 children made for another worthwhile morning of volunteering, with lots of โThank you, Marshal!โ from very grateful children and parents, and plenty of high fives to keep the younger runners motivated.

Woking Junior Park Run Despite the summer holidays there were several new participants this morning joining a great turn out from regular runners, parents, families, and friends. For the first time in what feels like months there was an overcast sky and even a few drops of rain but not enough to discourage some great individual performances. With Olalekan volunteering as barcode scanner and Karen and Steve-as marshals. Well done to everyone involved, a brilliant event, hope everyone has a great week and is ready again next Sunday morning.

Steve Anderson earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Steve completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Steve was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Steve is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Woking Junior Park Run
A fantastic morning at Woking Junior park run saw 126 junior participants take to the course, cheered on by their parents, families and friends and well wishers.
The weather was perfect, making for an enjoyable event for everyone.
With Olalekan volunteering as a barcode scanner and Karen and Steve as marshals.
Congratulations to all our juniors on another brilliant Sunday, we look forward to seeing everyone again next week . ๐
