On Friday night, Brenda Jacqui and I went to meet Hannah at Mint Street Park to help set up for the festival which was happening the next day. The task was to pick up some tables and chairs from Trinity square near by, and wheel them back to the park. This took two trips in the heatwave heat.

A free community music festival for all ages
For 12 years we have been putting on an annual festival in Mint Street Park with multi-genre live music, dance displays and children’s entertainment. We absolutely rely on community support and volunteer help. This year’s lineup includes bands with influences from South America to South London, Madagascar to Hawaii, plus performances from children in local schools to pension from local community centres.
