Today, 3 GoodGymers hit the streets to collect food for the community fridge.

A very decent haul this week, we filled the fridge full of veg and a few bakery items (as well as a lovely smelling bunch of flowers for anyone who wanted them)

Join us on Tuesday evening for our group run and task - at the community garden in Newtown.

This task supported
Exeter Community Fridge
We rescue surplus food from supermarkets across the city and give it away to all via a publicly accessible fridge in Exeter Library in order to reduce food waste.

As above. We need volunteers to pick up surplus food from designated businesses and drop it off at the Community Fridge. Quantities of food can vary but we will aim to match individual volunteers to particular pick-ups. Pick-ups are usually in the morning and the fridge is open during library opening hours. We are primarily a sustainability initiative.
