Finally some sunshine. I arrived at The Forum thinking I had woken up in a different part of the world. It was still fresh but warmed up as the morning went on.

We headed off on the short 1km trip to Jenny Lind Park to meet Liz and her volunteers, a couple of GoodGymers also met us there.

Our task was to clear all of the overgrown grass from a large flowerbed, which has been neglected since Covid.

Luckily, the ground was soft so we cracked on and transformed the entire flower bed, so now the plants, rose bushes and bulbs can flourish in the spring.

It was our first visit to Jenny Lind Park and I'm sure we'll be returning again.
