Mr R apologised as he put a handful of coins into my hand this afternoon, clearly keen to dispose of his loose change. I mentally counted the amount that was in coins and set off in hope that I'd be able to get the maths to work.

Tesco's shelves had everything that he wanted, but the total came to just under £15, for which I had no choice but to use the neatly folded £5s that he had given me alongside the coins, and so take home even more change - I sense next week I may need to bring a bucket...
