On a sunny February morning, 6 Good Gymmers arrived at the Farm. After a quick briefing and check on the newly born lambs, we set to work moving some large wooden planks from one end of the farm to the other to help with the construction of the new sleepers. This was a strong upper body workout and we tested a full range of lift and carry techniques, including whether use of a wheelbarrow was helpful or not? After about an hour of strong physical effort, we were rewarded with time spent feeding the pigs, calves and goats. It was a great work out. Special mention to Matthew for completing his first Good Gym mission! We will be back next weekend to carry on the mission.
