One of those are edible and one of those is stinky but excellent for the plants!! A gaggle of GoodGymers went up and over the hills to meet us at Seniors, whilst those of us meeting at the task had a lovely chat with our hosts for the evening.
Once we'd arrived we set about assigning jobs for the evening, who wanted to dig, who wanted to rip up some comfrey leaves, who wanted to water and who wanted to tackle a delicate job of digging out some seedlings.
There's always a task for everyone and Monday evening was no different except at Senior's there always seems to be a last minute rush for the hosepipe or a last minute dash to make sure something is watered. On Monday we had to make sure the comfrey tea fertiliser was topped up with water so when we come back in September we can water over the plants and give them the goodness.
Tonight we were celebrating Darryl's birthday which meant cupcakes and a drink at the Blythe Hill Tavern for those not running back to Glass Mill.
Thanks to Paul for leading the group safely to Seniors whilst I'm still waiting on the sign off from the physio! Next week is a brand new task so sign up!!

Nine wonderful GoodGym folk make a difference in Camden Town!!
Tucked within Camden Town's bustle is an estate with a very special communal courtyard ๐ and this lovely group gifted 60 minutes to make this green space much healthier and nicer!
Emilie, Jackie, John, Steve, and I started out in Somers Town and we took a social conversation-filled run up and over to Camden ๐ where we met Christy (on their first good deed โ a huge welcome!), Imogen, Michael, and Vic who had all made their own journeys by bike and foot :)
Welcomed by Dan, Vic, and other residents, this special team split into a bundle of good-deeding efficiency:
โค๏ธ We targeted the raised decking ๐ pulling weeds, grabbing fallen leaves, and sweeping everything into a pristine shine!
โค๏ธ We scraped the weed-filled gaps between the paving slabs ๐ leaving the courtyard a shining advert for block paving!
โค๏ธ We shaped the larger bushes ๐ cutting back the dead wood, gifting freedom to the buds yet to come!
And over everything else, last night felt like a community coming together ๐ our lovely group and four local residents ๐ it was a special hour :)
Here's to next time!

Rain or shine we gather at Glass Mill or in the case of this week, it was me accidentally hiding the listing but we still gathered!
In a nice change of pace, the whole group walked to the task and I have to say I did enjoy it.
We arrived at RUSS to the sound of gravel being moved and banging, at first we were unable to locate the source thinking it was on the roof but then we found Steve and the RUSS team who were giving us instructions for the task.
We had one group digging up the stones and another weeding the flower beds. We made such a difference in a short space of time!
Off to Mamma Dough for a post-group run social, Vic had been dreaming of that pizza since we arrived at Glass Mill!
We were also celebrating Matt's 100th good deed - congratulations Matt, it's a pleasure to have you along to the group runs and you always get stuck into the tasks! We look forward to the next 100!!
