Adele will also be putting up additional starter sessions during January so keep an eye out on the website!
Bridge House were incredibly grateful for the chocolates and card we left them to say thank you for hosting us every week. Good work!
Christmas/New Year can be a wonderful time but also a bit overwhelming. Luckily we have running to help! Read this lovely article about 'running it out' by This Vet Runs.
That's enough of the business
Last night in the surprisingly mild rain we met at Bridge House, whilst Adele was treating her husband on his birthday. I was delighted to take Bromley for the night, particularly with such festive headgear going on (see photos). Louise's christmas hat in particular jingled all the way to Sydenham Community Library.
We were met by Ilse who put us to work on three main tasks: hoovering, book shelf cleaning, upholstery scrubbing.
Louise made good friends with Hetty the hoover and very nearly managed to hoover the entire space whilst we were there. Lucy, Tim, Oli and Ian between them got to work on the shelves - taking books off, cleaning the shelf, replacing them (in the right order!).
We cleaned 150 foot of shelves!
We finished up at 8.00pm and were treated to some delicious cakes baked just for us!
Great work team, hope to see you again next year.
Have a fab Christmas and New Year!
