9 young ones attending a very warm, sunny Parkrun morning, and a reminder of why Junior Parkrun is such a worthy organisation & why as a volunteer I attend. Two first time to Junior Parkrun siblings with their Daddy joined us today, with loads of enthusiasm, yes they were very slow, picked up most of the sticks laying around the 2k course, looked at every feather & leaf laying around, but o did they enjoy themselves. The other participants had long gone ( except those with parents marshalling) but those remaining cheered these two home as they sprinted to the finish.
