It was the third task of the week for Tracey, Gwyn and Naomi, this time on a gardening mission at Umbrella.

We were tasked with clearing leaves and weeds from the car park and garden, and between the three of us that seemed achievable ... however, nearly 3 hours later and with 9 full bin bags, we'd just finished the car park and the steps leading into the garden! That's a whole lot of leaves! It's a good excuse to go back, and the Volunteer Coordinator Paul is keen for us to return.

When we weren't sweeping, raking, digging and bin bag carrying, Gwyn showed us his Superman moves, opening his fleece to reveal the superhero black GG t-shirt and Tracey captured the whole mission with these fabulous photos, including our perfectly posed and appropriate Umbrella shots!

If you're thinking of joining us, but aren't sure about the commitment or expectations, please be reassured and have a read of Naomi's story about how GoodGym is for everyone.

Have a look at our exciting upcoming tasks and take your pick ... we can't wait to welcome you soon.

Umbrella provides practical and emotional support to children, young adults and their families in Southern Derbyshire. We would really benefit from some help clearing the weeds as our grounds are looking very tired
