Tracey and Gwyn were in charge today at Parkinson's Cricket. One of our regular participants died only a few days ago, and he will be much missed. Today's group had a warm up, some catching practice, some bowling and finally a cricket game. We were kept busy scooping up the balls!

Mr R is a lovely enthusiastic chap, and welcomed Gwyn and Tracey with the greeting "I was expecting teenagers". We had exceeded his expectations by a factor of at least four, so that got us off to a perfect start.

We were able to cut back some overhanging shrubs and brambles, and to clear a path of fallen leaves and weeds. He was delighted with the difference that we'd made.
