Tracey and Gwyn met Alex and the old and new friends at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation's Monday Mates get-together. There was a festive theme and a celebration of one of the friends' birthday. We started with tea and a chat with some fun activities including pass the parcel. The themed quiz was popular, as were the seasonal games. My favourite was quoits thrown by a team at the antlers of their relevant reindeer: I was one of the reindeer. We celebrated John's birthday with delicious cake and a song, part of a live music session.
