Destined to tackle a clean up job at Merton and Morden Guild we set up work scrubbing with determination expecting the paint to wipe away with a bit of elbow grease. Instead, to our horror, the white spirit began reacting with the lino, leaving behind a murky grey film across the surface that made the space look worse than when we arrived!

Pivoting to good old-fashioned soap, water, and all the remaining scrubbing power we had, we hopefully saved the floor from permanent discoloration.

We got a decent upper-body workout and successfully averted a disaster. Sometimes community volunteering is all about heroic damage control. Massive credit to the team for giving it 100% effort from start to finish!
