Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Melanie Young (she/her)
It was lovely to welcome Isabelle to her very first GoodGym session with our litterpick/rabbit hunt at Dame Emily Park. Emily was one of 10, that's right 10, GoodGymmers wielding litter pickers like social distancing ninjas especially as Vaguely Northern Darren made his first appearance since he started shielding in March. 11 bags were collected though we were sad to have to leave the rabbits with a lot of broken glass by the skate park.
One of the skateboarders joined our litter pick, or we joined his as his regular warmup is to zip around the ramps picking up all the litter. Three guys chilling out on the steps asked for some bags, too, as they often do a tidy up in the mornings. So our 11 bags was pretty amazing and the park is tidy!
