Five GoodGymers turned out to help advertise The Shooting Star Hospices Christmas tree collection service through delivering leaflets.

Meeting at the Landmarks Art Centre in Teddington, we welcomed Anne , who was taking part in her first ever Good Gym Task! While Amy was visiting from Good Gym Hackney.

We divided the leaflets up and split up into two groups, to cover as many roads within the Teddington area as possible, while at the same time still being able to appreciate the tree-mendous decorations still on show.

A job well done! This the first of several Good Gym missions advertising the Christmas Tree collection service between Christmas and new year, with different starting points across the Richmond Borough.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across west London and Surrey.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across west London and Surrey. We’re here to make every moment count, whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months, or years. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Our specialist care and support is free of charge and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We support around 500 babies, children, or young adults who have a life-limiting condition and their families, as well as around 200 bereaved families. It costs £10 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our services going.
