Join us on an 11km walk round Avebury, Wiltshire

You'll see the remains of the largest stone circle in the world and beautiful rolling chalk downland. You'll catch glimpses of the prehistoric Silbury Hill, pass Bronze Age burial mounds and ancient roads with far-reaching views across the landscape

We're catching the 09:15 train from Paddington to Swindon, which takes about 50 minutes, and then we're getting a bus to Avebury

TRAVEL HINT: You can use a Network card (£30 annually) to get a day return to Didcot Parkway for 33% off. Then you only have to pay full fare on your additional return from Didcot Parkway to Swindon. Or to get a discount on the whole journey, two of you get a Two Together card (£35) which gives you 33% off all British fares for a whole year if you travel together
