Traceyand Gwyn went to Allestree for the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation's session for people with Parkinson's disease. It's a friendly morning's sport and included a game of Boccia as well as cricket related activities. We all enjoyed the session and the tea beak too!

Such a friendly chap, was so appreciative of any help offered. Tidied up all the fallen leaves and as much weeding as would fit in the bin.

We’d been here before and had great support from B, and this time had super support from C (both of them carers) and a knockout cup of tea from M, I didn’t get where I am today without knowing that there was more fence to paint. There were no brushes, so the helpful C popped out to get a Perrin in 11 minutes. There had been significant leaf fall so we cleared some of that and Tracey found some poo in the Greengross (fox, not hippopotamus). We tied a bush back, brushed away Grot, and painted panels in the Sunshine: our just Desserts. We look forward to coming back to paint the rest.

...of unwanted grass and weeds. Our team gathered once again at St. Matthew's Church to tackle some much-needed grave upkeep. It was great to be back, with Ashley, Pete and Pianofire joining our friend David to make the resting places more presentable. Despite the dark, cold, and peaceful night, we warmed up quickly as we got to work. The highlight of the evening? Discovering Colin’s impressive pinball world ranking—who knew he was a true pinball wizard!

Tracey and Gwyn collected leaflets for Saturday's extraordurenary Advent Fair that we were guano be dropping through local letterboxes from Anne. The only way to do this job is manureally. With a quick "poop-poop" we set off dunging the leaflets in letterboxes around the church. The big job was done quickly (it was our turd year doing it) but we discovered that we had (different coloured) dog dirt on our shoes at the end. Poo gosh.

Lots of fun to be had at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation's Parkinson's Cricket session today.
We warmed up with target practice, working on hand-eye coordination, and then went on to play cricket with everyone taking a turn at batting and bowling.
One batter gave us an extremely memorable shot - the ball travelled the complete length of the hall, through the kitchen door, and ended up in the sink!
