Was a lovely time on Tuesday welcoming back Sarah and Bethan to the Hammersmith fold, glad to see you both again!
As always we had a lovely time at Flora Gardens, this time helping to clear out the plants near the play area so no kiddy gets their eye potentially poked out by a stray branch on the every-growing plants.
Unfortunately it was our last task their with our Jeanette! Jeanette has been calling on our services since 2018 and flora gardens was the first site of the report writers (Jonathan's) first even Goodgym mission!
Thank you so much for having us over the years Jeanette, we're going to miss you!

Our final task for 2023 saw cookie and biscuits unite to give the bushes around Flora Gardens a good trim before the winter truly sets in.
Although we both forgot our head torches, we made us of streetlights and nearby houselights to ensure that people walking past the school or parking their car wouldn't accidentally get an eyeful of branch!
We then had a lovely chat with the task owner before heading on our merry way.
Thanks for all your hard work this year Biscuits! See you next year!

A solo excursion by our taskforce member Analiese saw her help Jeanette chuck some old bits and bobs away.
Fantastic work!

We made short work of dismantling part of the now redundant computer room at the local primary school. With the advent of more laptops at schools these rooms are now redundant.
Its official, at 28 I have now been made to feel old.
Thanks to Biscuits and Analiese for coming, always wonderful having you!

Quite honestly I'm impressed by how many bags of leaves we got done, perhaps the cold inspired us to get it done faster!
A lovely task as always with Flora Gardens, and we discussed how we could help them into the new year as they move to their new site.

We popped along to Flora Gardens to help out with some much needed pruning and cutting back of greenery that had grown rampant along the fence.
We cut back a lot more than we thought we'd get done, thanks to the energetic efforts of Matteo, Divya and Biscuits.
A solid hour's work also saw us cut back a buddleia that might've caused some young'uns an unnesscary crash into the wall during playtime.
