The rain did not keep us from de-weeding, trimming, cleaning and turning over soil on a number of plant beds

A first time Goodgym session for Dipeeka and Rohan after a few false starts (mostly because of mix-ups caused by me!)
It was wonderful to see you both and I hope to see you again soon!
A good morning once again with the friends of furnival gardens, doing some weeding in the raised beds and moving a bush that had started to get a little big for its boots!
Thanks for having us!

I must admit that even though I am the report writer I arrived a little late to the mission and Michelle and Luis had already done an admirable job here there and everywhere around the site.
In the end I helped plant some prickly plants that should provide some more cover to Furnival gardens from the sights and sounds of the great west road!
Due to some injury concerns, some of our goodgymmers couldn't dig so did an admirable job pruning back some plants before the spring so some bushes can start to take shape.
Many thanks for everyone coming, your help was much appreciated!

Spent the saturday morning helping plant up come shady and full sun plants to populate the borders.
Outside of this, I also helped plant a good amount of crocus bulbs along the edge of a green space which will hopefully give the border a nice bit of colour in the spring.

A delayed report, we helped with the planting of new hedgerows alongside the edge of furnival gardens bordering the great west road to help combat noise and pollution from all the cars.
Unfortunately the hedges themselves had yet to arrive when we got there so instead we aided the team by digging the holes they needs before the plants arrived so the soil would (hopefully) be a bit looser!
A warm welcome back to @Khadijah! Was wonderful to see you again and we hope you'll be a regular back with Hammersmith and Fulham goodgym!
We rounded off with a hearty mince pie/ chocolate, donated by a local supporter of furnival gardens!
