Lots to cleaning and clearing today but we were set to finish ahead of schedule for a change. Until we realised the laundry had been forgotten!
This slight delay gave us the opportunity to handle the excess bread that needed disposing of along with thoroughly rinsing all the cloths.
A great end of day job as always - it's the last session next week, why not join us: https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/help-with-clean-up-at-merton-s-community-fridge-wednesday-f2e883b7-dfdb-41c9-b310-c0f76aa408e7

Braving the chilly weather, the team enthusiastically streamlined the post-distribution cleanup at the Fridge today. We efficiently recycled, cleared crates, and scrubbed containers spotless. As extra helpers the GoodGym volunteers were brilliant especially as they know the drill and what needs doing. Well done team!

As usual, the main task involved tackling the post-distribution whirlwind: managing lots of recycling and clearing out crates. This involved plenty of scrubbing and stacking, ensuring all boxes and storage containers were thoroughly cleaned and ready for refilling.
A little bit of extra muscle and enthusiasm arrived to make a huge contribution and we were done and on our way.

Three GoodGymers embraced the draw of getting active and doing good, heading out into the dark #letsliftthecurfew to support Merton's Community Fridge.
It was a somewhat chaotic clean-up with lots to do, organise and clean. Our trio rolled up their sleeves and systematically worked through the boxes, recycling and rubbish, proving that a small team can make a huge impact. A huge welcome and well done to Kathryn on your first mission, and hopefully see you again soon.
