It was a cold but sunny morning with a good turnout of 421 runners. I was on barcode scanning, using the phone app for the first time. It proved very easy and straightforward, and the whole event went well.

It was a fine morning for running with a good turnout. I was volunteering at the finish funnel so was able to cheer fellow GoodGym member Dave as he came in strongly in seventh place.

I had a great time volunteering this morning. I organise the volunteers at Norwich parkrun so it’s always great to our faces to names and finally meet people!

I had the role of briefing the marshals and then barcode scanning after I had ran.

The run was very humid today and it was hard to get round without stopping. I then whipped on the pink volunteer vest and got scanning using the app. The Virtual Volunterr app is very easy to use and it is clear to see when you have scanned names then numbers. To upload you scan the QR code for the parkrun, which our Run Director has, then submit and you are done!

It was great to scan lots of people, I met a lad who liked about 8years old and had just ran! He delighted in telling me he had done Sheringham and Sloughbottom parkruns too! What’ a legend! 😊

I ended up on the finish token sorting them out with other helpful volunteers.

First time at a park run and most definitely not the last! Great atmosphere and smily people makes it all worth standing in the rain and clapping!

It was another fine morning at Eaton for Junior Parkrun, despite some wet and blowy weather lately. Yet again there was a good turnout of enthusiastic young runners who did well getting round the 2 kilometre course.

The weather was much better than expected this morning - dry, bright and sunny. It was great to see so many youngsters out ready to run - including at least a couple from the GoodGym family. Unfortunately there is no high fiving at present - just lots of clapping and encouragement. It was also good to meet Manuela, a new GoodGym member.
